Bianca Marroquin will return to the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago for a limited holiday run. Marroquin will begin performances on December 20 and stay with the production through January 9, 2011 at the Ambassador Theatre.
Marroquin first played the role in the Mexico City production of the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic in 2002. She then made her English language stage debut in the Broadway production later that year. She has since returned to the role on four separate engagements, including a stint opposite Usher, and wrote about her experience in the show in a First Person essay for Broadway.com. Marroquin's other Broadway credits include The Pajama Game and In the Heights.
Chicago currently stars Leigh Zimmerman as Velma Kelly, Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn, Robert Creighton as Amos Hart and LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Matron "Mama" Morton.
